A little about Yamini

Yamini is a Senior Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. She holds a a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy as well as a Masters Degree in Orthopaedics, Sports and Manual Therapy (University of South Australia). Yamini speaks English and Tamil.

 

Yamini has travelled extensively and gained a wide range of experience in public and private health care systems. She has gained valuable experience in all age groups and treated a wide range of musculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions including pre and post-op management and sport injuries.

As well as being very experienced in a range of areas, Yamini has a special interest in pelvic floor health for women and in working with older clients in the areas of balance assessment and falls prevention.

Yamini is a trained yoga practitioner and has previously worked with the Arthritis Foundation helping to educate and raise community awareness of exercise and bone health. Yamini integrates her yoga knowledge into her physiotherapy practice offering tailored exercise programs for her clients to maximise recovery. Yamini is passionate about delivering the highest quality service for all her clients.

Additional Notes For Patients

Yamini treats a wide range of conditions including jaw pain (TMD) and chest conditions (respiratory physio). She is also experienced in dry needling. Yamini does not presently treat vertigo. Yamini speaks English and Tamil.
